Smokey Citrus Salad

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Cara Cara Orange
  • 1 Red Grapefruit
  • 1 Blood Orange
  • 1 lime, zest and juice
  • 3 handfuls baby arugula
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Boonville Barn Collective Piment D'Ville
  • pinch of flaky salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

Peel all citrus (except the lime) using a knife, making sure to remove the pith and the rind.

Slice peeled citrus into rounds about 1/2 inch thick.

Wash, dry and place arugula in the bottom of a shallow salad bowl.

Arrange oranges and grapefruit over the arugula as rounds, or separate into wedges.

Sprinkle sugar, lime zest, and lime juice over fruit and toss gently to combine.

Sprinkle Piment d’Ville and flaky salt over top. Serve immediately.
