Magic Umami Sprinkles Chicken Satay Recipe

YIELD: 2-3 servings


  • 2 lbs chicken thighs (boneless & skinless)
  • 3 Tbsp Coconut cream
  • 1Tbsp Magic Umami Sprinkles
  • 1 tsp Sonoko Curry Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Fresh or Dried Kaffir (Makrut) Lime Leaves
  • salt
  • pepper


Wash and pat dry chicken with paper towels

Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper (Diaspora Aranya Pepper recommended)

Dice chicken into 1 inch pieces and place on wood skewers

Mix all ingredients (except chicken) in a medium sized bowl until combined

Place chicken skewers on a baking sheet and coat each skewer completely in the coconut umami mixture

Cover baking sheet and let marinate in refrigerator for 6-8 hours

Remove baking sheet from refrigerator

Preheat oven to 450 F

Place baking sheet in refrigerator for 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through

Remove from oven and enjoy!
